Essen and the Ruhr Area will be in the limelight this coming year. As Europe’s Capital of Culture, they will be hosting an exciting programme of arts and culture which thousands of visitors from all over the world are expected to attend. RWE is supporting this endeavour and has therefore launched its very own arts and culture portal, energiekulturruhr.de.

RWE Companius, moreover, is encouraging employees of RWE to sign up as volunteer helpers for RUHR.2010.

The helpers who sign up on RWE Companius Web can volunteer for a wide range of functions. Welcome Volunteers, for example, will be responsible for showing visitors the way, providing information for the disabled, giving advice on how best to get from A to B and much more besides. Other volunteers will be assigned to the various events and there deployed as needed.
