The charitable organisation Big Brothers Big Sisters is currently planning a campaign aimed at encouraging more men to volunteer as mentors. To help with the preparatory work, we are looking for between 10 and 15 RWE employees – especially in Marketing, PR and Communications – who would be willing to contribute their professional skills and creativity to a one-day brainstorming workshop to develop ideas for the forthcoming campaign.

Wuppertal’s helpline for people in distress has a very small budget and therefore has to rely on outside support. The service is currently looking for someone to design a flyer advertising the services which the helpline provides. The content, including texts, photos and logo, will of course be supplied.

The Rock auf der Bahn rock festival is to be held at the BMX racetrack in Plessa, Brandenburg, on 21 August 2010. The festival gives up-and-coming bands a chance to play in front of huge crowds and to get people enthusiastic about regional music. Helpers are needed especially for setting up and clearing up after the event.

The Franz Sales Haus in Essen is a facility for children and young people with severe, multiple disabilities. As its May highlight, the centre is planning a day out at a theme park. To be able to provide the necessary level of care for the 20 participants, the centre is now looking for RWE employees willing to come along as escorts.
